A painted stainless steel sculpture inspired by the Maltese Cross, the international symbol of fire fighters. Installed in front of Fire Station #24 in Kirkland, Washington. The artwork is lit from within with a continuous white light. When the call signal activates the interior lights turn red, and pulse, until the trucks leave the station.
