Talking Parking Meters

Three parking meters modified with a louvered grate to allow sound from a speaker inside the meter to be heard. An ultrasonic sensor detects when a participant approches the meter and then plays sounds of nature, transportation, or a variety of greetings. Installed at the Eastbridge Town Center in the Central Park neighborhood of Denver.
